Data Conform is a complete conforming and editing solution for tapeless workflows. It accepts EDLs and Cutlists and enables you to load, trim and replace edits as you work.
Data Conform is the perfect choice for post and VFX houses that do extensive pre-visualisation work.
Automatic Conforming
Whether you are working on a commercial, or a feature film, with the data files on disk, conforming is simple and fast. Just load an EDL, cutlist or AAF file, locate the disk volume and let Film Cutter search and conform the files automatically onto our multi-track timeline complete with transitions and retimes. Dealing with video and data in a single system saves time by avoiding unnecessary transfers back to video. Add shared storage to enable Film Master and Data Conform to work from the same data files – eliminate unproductive copying time. Assemble the conform and easily check it against the offline cut. Play out dailies directly, or create QuickTime movie files for viewing offline.
Shared Architecture - Collaborative Workflow
Data Conform shares the same flexible, data centric architecture and intuitive user interface as Film Master and Film Cutter, making it an ideal assist station. With Data Conform you can conform both video and data. You can also render Film Master projects which include advanced features only available in Film Master. All of this capability is available in a highly cost-effective package.
Build on Your Investment
You can extend Data Conform’s power by adding more functionality such as Video I/O, Pan & Scan, Effects, or our Emmy Award-winning Digital Vision Optics (DVO) processing tools for managing grain and noise, or concealing dust and scratches. Turn your assist station into a restoration station, or use it for pre-processing before DVD encoding. You can purchase options or opt for a Time Based License (TBL) which allows you to limit the cost of use to a particular project. Further options include the support of MXF file types and other features still under wraps!
